A Most Recent Painting

So nothing gets me painting like a deadline and an actual show. This one was for the Bidwell Park in Chico, California in a small art show called Bidwell and Beyond about people and how they use park spaces. My thing was showing how everyone could enjoy nature's beauty in Yosemite since it offers easy hikes like the one to Upper and Lower Falls to more difficult hikes like up to Half Dome. More nature conservation! Appreciate our parks! So watercolor and acrylic, here it is for people who can't go see the original.

Nice! You're good at landscapes. Never tried a watercolor/acrylic combo.

Heh, the only watercolor on the piece is the sky bit. Lot easier to get a smooth watercolor wash than an acrylic one.
